Kolor Banwa and Lola Liling’s Lutong Bahay recently hosted a highly successful art workshop for children in Southern Leyte. Kolor Banwa, a community-driven art collective, teamed up with Lola Liling’s Lutong Bahay, a beloved local restaurant renowned for its authentic Filipino cuisine, to provide young artists with an unforgettable experience, nurturing their talents and inspiring creativity. The event brought together a group of enthusiastic young artists, eager to explore their creative potentials and learn new techniques under the guidance of seasoned artists from Kolor Banwa.

Led by Aljun Alvarez, Archie Prisno, Katrina De La Cruz, and Philip Salem, the workshop provided hands-on learning opportunities for the kids. These talented mentors shared their expertise in various art forms, encouraging participants to experiment with different styles and methods. Through interactive demonstrations and one-on-one guidance, the children were able to grasp key artistic concepts while expressing their own unique ideas on paper.
