A licensed aircraft mechanic with a degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology from Cebu Aeronautical Technical School, Dave has long proven his discipline and attention to detail—qualities essential in both engineering and public service.
But Dave is more than just a technician. He is a passionate reggae musician, visual artist, and cultural advocate who has been instrumental in revitalizing the creative spirit of Hinunangan. As president of Lakbay Sining, he has led community initiatives that nurture artistic talent, including the 2024 On-the-Spot Painting Competition and the re-establishment of live band music in the municipality since 2021. His musical roots in reggae reflect his values—peace, unity, freedom, and respect for nature.
Dave currently serves as a Sangguniang Barangay Member, where he advocates for sustainable community development, support for local artists, and youth empowerment. His candidacy as an independent councilor is driven by a vision to build a more vibrant, inclusive, and environmentally conscious Hinunangan. He believes that the arts, music, and grassroots participation are not side projects—they are powerful tools for social change.
